Life can be hectic sometimes.

We encounter love that seems inexhaustible and endless. But sometimes a stomach full of butterflies seems to go hand in hand with a broken heart that makes you realize that a box of tissues isn't exactly cheap.

There's so much authenticity, beauty, and purity in the rollercoaster we call life. "Exposed" takes you through all those dizzying heights and often unexpected depths. Behind the various chapters, words show you the path between laughter and tears, past the sometimes intense reality and dreamy pink clouds, to hopefully a feeling that makes you decide, "I'm not alone." Because believe me, you never are.

WARGROOM

Some people know Amber primarily from her Instagram page "Warboek." With a loyal following, she's been writing down just about every thought and feeling she can think of for several years. She does this in the form of poems accompanied by line drawings. Themes such as self-love, friendship, relationships, mental well-being, and farewells are often explored. With "Blootgesteld" (Exposed), her writing and drawing are put to paper for the first time, and Amber reveals the beauty of exposing yourself.

For the first time in Warboek's history, a physical poetry collection is available. "Buitgesteld" (Exposed) is a "best of" collection of poems and illustrations written and drawn over the past few years, supplemented with a wealth of new poetry and drawings. These are organized into five distinct chapters, each addressing a different theme, including (learning to) love yourself, the beauty of love, saying goodbye, and mental health.

The 176 pages are filled with poems and accompanying minimalist line drawings, in the style you've come to expect from Warboek. The pages transport you through a wealth of feelings and thoughts, some of which may even evoke emotions.
